If you have referred a patient to Seattle Jaw Surgery or if one of your patients has an upcoming surgery, here is the direct link to Dr. Bobek’s collaboration calendar. Different meeting options exist including face to face, phone and zoom visits. These are to help remove any hurdles to communication between members of the care team. Hopefully this makes communication easier!
Preferred hook locations on archwire before surgery
For most cases, we need wire hooks between the 1s in the upper and lower arches and distal to the 3s if using ceramic brackets.
We also have the ability to add our own crimpable hooks during surgery
Down Fracture Podcast – a podcast for talking jaws
This is a weekly podcast in conjunction with Arizona Jaw Surgery where Dr. Bobek discusses various topics related to jaw surgery. The audience is other jaw surgeons, orthodontists, oral surgery residents, ENT, and sleep medicine physicians.
Nursing Education
With the help of Swedish nurses, Dr. Bobek developed an online learning module for new caregivers for orthognathic surgery patients.
