I had a wonderful experience with Seattle Jaw Surgery. Dr. Bobek, MD, is an amazing surgeon. I am now about six weeks post-op from double jaw surgery, and everything is going well. Andrea, PA, has been fantastic, offering helpful tips during our follow-up visits.
I want to specifically mention Al for her incredible work. She was exceptional in scheduling my pre-op consultations and ensuring I had my questions answered. I periodically checked in with her because the bills didn’t always arrive directly, but I wanted to make sure Seattle Jaw Surgery was paid. Al is excellent at keeping patients informed, staying on top of appointments, and making sure bills are emailed to me time. She truly is the glue that holds the office together!
I will continue to update this review when I reach six months and 12 months post-op. I will also post before and after pictures after a year has passed.

I was running late and I called and they were lovely and said no problem. I arrived and was greeted by 3 lovely women. I was taken quickly by a charming assistant. The doctor showed up very soon and spent plenty of time with me. We had a good discussion and came to a decision together on how to proceed. My procedure is scheduled for Friday, not months from now. Best experience at a doctor’s office from start to finish. Was able to communicate via text to schedule and prepare for my appointment. Everyone in the office was so kind. Dr. Bobek took the time for all of my questions and had a great plan of action. If needed I would feel more than comfortable having him perform my surgery.

This was my first meeting with Dr. Bobek for my MRI follow up and he couldn’t have been more informative or patient with the hundreds of questions I had to ask. I appreciate that he took the time to explain what’s going on, and the best course of action for me. I didn’t feel rushed at all. And all the front desk staff and scheduling staff was incredible as well.

Just had my six-month post-op appointment yesterday after double jaw surgery in February. I am so happy with my results, I can breathe and chew better than ever. My sense of smell has even improved which was a cool and unexpected result! Seeing my before and after photos was wild, I didn't realize just how bad my bite was before surgery until I saw it compared to my bite now (which is nearly perfect!).
Dr. Bobek did a great job and Dr. Burgess was incredibly helpful during my entire healing process. They made me feel at ease and took the time to patiently answer all of my millions of questions at every stage.
I ended up with an infected plate post-op. Antibiotics kept it at bay for a while but it eventually came back. When I contacted them to let them know that the infection came back they were able to see me that same day. They took my concerns seriously, and both Dr. Bobek and Dr. Burgess stayed past closing that day to review my scans and answer all of my questions. I really appreciated that. They ended up removing the plate and that process was way easier than I thought it would be. I've had no issues since then.
I would 100% do the surgery with Dr. Bobek again.

Dr. Bobek was recommended to me, as a very talented and skilled surgeon, by dentists that I know. Upon meeting him, I did find him to be very knowledgeable, but more importantly, I felt that he did an excellent job of educating me and explaining his diagnosis and proposed treatment. On a personal level, I found him to be a very personable and a genuinely nice person.
As for his support staff, a couple of things impressed me. When I first contacted the office, I was devastated by the fact that the earliest they could see me was in about 3 months. But, they offered to put me on a short list and assured me me that they would contact me as soon as a spot became available. And as promised, they called me about 2 months before my scheduled appointment, and got me in.
The second thing was that prior to my appointment, I dropped off a flash drive, with medical imagings and other digital files, and asked them to include them as part of my patient record. When I was at the appointment, I noticed that they had downloaded the files, which made my appointment with the doctor efficient and effective. In person, I found every staff to be very friendly and helpful. Thus, it’s been a seamless experience for me. Before my visit, I had been kind of down and overwhelmed by what a jaw surgery would involve. But I left the office feeling much better about what lies ahead of me.

This surgery was well worth the wait of a couple of years. I am healing rapidly with only a bit of swelling after 6 weeks. Hard to imagine that having bilateral jaw joint replacement, I am virtually pain free. Talented staff, amazing surgeon and I am "good to go" in such a short time. Thank you Dr Bobek, Andrea, et al!

My husband had an appointment at 9am but we had a long drive so we arrived early at 8am, we didn’t expect to get taken back until 9 or later but they took us back right away to at least get X-rays and preliminary stuff out of the way which was super nice. My husband had a full mouth of extractions and a tongue tie correction same day. While they ran a bit behind, it made me feel good they take the time they need to with their patients. Dr. S was very thorough and I felt bad he seemed to be so rushed because their office is very busy but I mean that in a good way. The front desk ladies were so wonderful and friendly. After my husband had been in surgery over an hour, one of the girls could tell I was anxious and without me even asking went to check on his status, I really appreciated the care my husband received there.
